Energy plays a pivotal role in our operations, constituting a large portion of the resources required for battery manufacturing. From the very beginning. we have prioritized energy conservation and integrated it into our core values. We have implemented the ISO 50001 Energy Management System which has led to benefits such as lower energy use and operational costs. Moreover, we have embraced the concept of 'greening the system, which involves adopting renewable energy and cleaner technologies to minimize our environmental impact. We are working to improve our process and capabilities so that we can achieve net zero emission by 2050.

WATER STEWARDSHIP
Our processes are not water-intensive, we are dedicated to responsible water use in our operations. We are adopting the 3R approach (Reuse. Reduce. Recycle) towards Water Management. Zero Liquid Discharge systems are commissioned at all our facilities leading to an increase in effluent recycling rate & reduction in freshwater consumption. Rainwater storage reservoirs are available as an alternative source of freshwater.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Lead is one of the most recyclable and recycled materials. Our closed-loop system optimizes lead use and recycling, and we manage batteries responsibly through an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) plan while ensuring compliance with the applicable waste management rules for batteries and plastic.

To enhance green cover, the company planted trees that thrive in tropical dry, and snail-type soils while implementing essential soil and micro-irrigation management techniques
